How to use your Pendrive as RAM for windows 7,8,10,xp-very easy 2015 (2 Methods)

Regardless of the name, these USB drives are an excellent and exceptionally handy tool. They are exclusively for the people who use computers at several different locations and need to take data along with them. The USB drivers are great-to-use, as they are small in size, can fit in your pocket or can act as your key chain. You can get about 32 MB to 4 GB of storage without any need of software.
There are many software available on the internet which allows you to do the same from one place without any settings like that.
You might prefer them as these were the features which windows contains by default.for your clear understanding I provide all the important point for you which are related to this article.

in today memory space play important role because without memory nothing is possible .I assuming that you know about RAM here i am not interested to define what is random access memory so try google uncle for that.
Genraly our laptops have 1 GB memory or 2 GB memory so many software not work because of this less memory storage. if you want to install vice city game you have find some error like less memory for installing vice city.here is the main problem is my RAM so dont worry here is trick about how to increase RAM .even it is possible to change RAM from 2GB TO 4GB but you have more money to buy RAM. so without wasting our money for this because we are all modern people.Before beginning the article i want to include some basics advantage an disadvantage of pen drive as a RAM.If you face troubling with your computer speed don't worry this guide is also helpful to increase windows PC speed.

Advantages of using pen-drive as RAM :

• 1.It is the cheapest.

• 2.Serves as extra virtual memory sometimes when you needed.

• 3.Helps in Increasing your System Speed and boosting up your Videos or Games.

 

Disadvantages of using pen-drive as RAM :

• 1.Un-Reliable

• 2.Access speeds through USB for a ReadyBoost USB drive are very slow compared to internal RAM. i.e. Extremely Slow about 5~6MB/s as compared to RAM Speed.

• 3.You`ll notice the improvement in  the System Performance only if you are using a low physical memory ( Small size RAM ). Increase in Speed for Powerful Configuration Computer might not be identical.

• 4.Choose Do not use this device before removing pen-drive

Lets start our actual tutorial here i am going to give you two method for "how to use  your USB  as RAM"

• 1) virtual RAM concept method

• 2) ready boost method ( very easy method)

#Method 1st:- Virtual Ram Concept For Windows XP, 7 and 8,10

 Step:1) first of all  Just plug the drive in the USB port of computer or laptops  (make sure  with 1GB at least in the USB port, better to prefer 4GB)

Step:2) now Wait for 2-3 second for detecting your Pen drive by your computer or laptops.


Step:3) when your computer detect Pen-drive, there is a real and smart thing to do.


Step:4) Right click on "My Computer" and select  "Properties" (see below given screenshot)

Step:5) Now when you click on Properties a new  window will appear, now here you need to press the  "Advanced system settings" button which is located at the left side.(see below picture for clear idea).

Step:6) Here in this window simply click on  "Advanced"  Tab after that  click on "Settings" Button appear in "performance box".

 

Step:7) Again new window will appear then click on "Advanced" Tab.
In Advanced Tab there is an option of  "Virtual Memory box", Then click on "Change" Button.(see screenshot below)

Step:8) After click Change Button "Virtual settings" will appear.
Now unchecked the box of  "Automatically Manage Page size for all drives",and select your pen drive from here.


Step:9) Then select "Custom size" and Add Your Pen Drive current same in below format.(see picture for format).

 Important Note:

If Your Pen Drive is of Size 4Gb then always add 10Mb less from current available size. As i am using pen drive of size 4Gb and current space available is 3700 Mb then use 3690 minimum approx or remove more as you can because it better of device safety.


Step:10) Now Add same "Value" in both boxes and click on "ok" button.

Step:11) Restart Your PC or Laptop and Now pen drive work as "Virtual Ram".

Method 2nd:- Steps of Ready Boost concept only for Windows 7, 8,10 very easy method to expend your RAM.

 

If you face problem in above method then can also follow this  method which is easy to perform and work on Window 7, 8,10,xp (tested)

 

Step:1) first of all you need to Insert your "Pen Drive" in to your PC or laptop then make Right click on your pen drive and select "properties"

 

Step:2) In Properties select "Ready Boost" Tab.(see screenshot below)


Step:3)  Then switch to "Use this device" and reduce your current memory space. If your current device place is 4094 MB then reduce it with approx 300-400MB.

Step:4) After that simply click on Apply button.

that's it .

how to change your Pen drive as normal:

In case if you want to change back your pen drive to normal then

follow above step 1&2 and switch to "Do not use this device" in ready Boost tab.

Important Recommendations about using of USB:

• Always Safely Eject Your Pen Drive. Direct remove removal may leads to device damage.

• In Virtual Memory method If you want to convert back your Pen into Normal Then Again open Virtual Settings And Remove custom memory value and choose Default settings by checking "Automatically Manage Paging Size".

• In Ready Boost method don't forget to revert back to normal or otherwise open your pen drive and delete Ready boost file from your pen drive.
